A combination of raw texture and high polished finishing, symbolizing the bonding of two very different souls. As time goes by, the two individuals grow toward one another, meanwhile, changes shown on the rings become the evidence of time that has spent together. Thus, the blend of two textures completes the design concept of 'Two becoming One'.
The Egyptian Ring
Redesign memorial ring, 18K yellow gold with sapphire
Originally given as a souvenir of travel from our customer’s brother, who passed away years ago. One time, he was curious about the pattern on the ring. He looked into the meaning of the Egyptian symbols, and discovered that is their Family name, “YUNG”. To preserve the ring with his brother’s hidden thought, our artisan transferred the cut-out symbols onto a new band with sapphires set aside.A memorial jewelry always means more than just beautiful and special, but to keep your loved ones close to you.
Mother’s gift
Repairing Jadeite bracelet, 18k white gold with diamond
A precious emerald green jadeite bracelet, that has been worn by our customer’s mother, was then passed to her. Yet, after a long time wearing, some flaws were unavoidably formed that affect the internal translucency. For this, Master Tang created traditional cloud motif inspired embellishments made by 18k gold with pave setting diamonds, to go along the marks as well as strengthening the bracelet itself. This modern touch elevates the artfulness and value of the jadeite bracelet, while also extended the connection with her mother.
